ANEW REVOLUTION: 'Head Against The Wall' Video Released

May 6, 2010

"Head Against The Wall", the brand new video from ANEW REVOLUTION, the Austin, Texas-based band featuring former members of SLAVES ON DOPE and UNLOCO, can be viewed below (courtesy of AOL's Noisecreep). The clip was directed by David Brodsky, who has previously worked with THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, HATEBREED and FEAR FACTORY, among others.

Frontman Joey Duenas stated about the track, "'Head Against The Wall' is the ultimate vent song! It's like you want to break free from the norm. You're tired of being stuck so you try pushing through a barrier, a block or a wall. Only to find yourself beating against it and it leaves you screaming frustration and disappointment, but in the end you dust yourself off and try again."

"The abandoned psychiatric hospital in Austin was the perfect location to convey what the song/video is all about: frustration, anger, chaos and the voices inside your head," said bassist Frank Salvaggio. "Kudos to Joey and my brother Domenico Salvaggio for creating this creepy concept and I think after watching the video you'll realize that a little group therapy is always good!"

"Head Against The Wall", comes off ANEW REVOLUTION's second album, "iMerica", which is scheduled for release on May 18 via E1 Music (formerly Koch Records). The follow-up to the group's 2008 Mudrock-produced (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, GODSMACK) debut, "Rise", was recorded at Spider Studios in Strongsville, Ohio with producer Ben Schigel (DROWNING POOL, WALLS OF JERICHO, CHIMAIRA, BREAKING POINT).

ANEW REVOLUTION will perform at this year's Summerfest and Bandcamp festivals. Bandcamp happens August 14 in Madison, Wisconsin and also features GODSMACK, SEVENDUST and DOPE. Summerfest will take place June 27 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with ANEW REVOLUTION supporting NONPOINT.
